My Story

Nichole Burris
Founder

Hello Hello Hello my name is Nichole thank you for being the most incredible YOU!!!

I am honored to be here today in hopes of helping you throughout the hard times or maybe just a confusing time of your life. I will share with you ideas, guidance and techniques that I have learned over the 20 years of experience that I have working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
I am from a small town in Wyoming where I lived until I graduated high school in 2000. I then graduated from Central Wyoming College with an associates of arts degree in secondary education. I transferred to Jamesown College in North Dakota where I continued my education in special education.  This is where I absolutely fell in love with helping young children with autism. I became a life skills trainer at the Anne Carlson Center for Children. I worked with the most amazing kids that it made it hard to leave North Dakota. Two years later I moved back and started teaching in North Salt Lake. I taught 4th and 2nd grade there until I had the opportunity to teacher at a private preschool for little ones on the autism spectrum in the Ogden/Davis area. I have been teaching preschool for the past several years and love every single chance that I get to make a difference in their lives and lives of their families.

Nichole worked with my son when he was at the preschool. She was very supportive of teaching the parents how to communicate and adapt to behaviors of my son. She made a special appointment to come to the grocery store with my son and I. She was calm and consistent with helping correct behaviors of my son that were difficult for me to handle on my own. She has a lot of passion and love for the autism community. She has been at the school for over 15 years and is exceptional at what she does.
